A student visa holder can apply for Skills Assessment/EOI and lodge Subclass 491 Visa Application. Note that, if you have been nominated, and lodged a visa application, you will receive a BVA in association with your Student Visa. The BVA does not come into effect until your student visa expires. Therefore, you must continue to meet all student visa conditions until the 491 grant or until the student visa expires.
